District 5 General Service Business Meeting

3rd TUESDAY of the Month ONLY -- NOT A RECOVERY MEETING.
The District 5 General Service Meeting is open to all members of AA in District 5. In support of the AA groups that have formed in District 5, this business meeting deals with the General Service functions for these groups. This is the place for groups to suggest improvements and changes as they see fit for the betterment of the District. For many members, involvement in General Service work provides immeasurable personal growth and opportinities for service.

Issues that arise from groups are discussed and voted upon at the District business meeting. When issues could affect other Districts, we bring these issues Area 15 Service Committee, which serves Districts throughout South Florida and many islands in the Caribbean.

In turn, AA's General Service Organization (GSO) provides support and service to Area Committees globally.
