First Light Recovery (FLR) is a social rehabilitation treatment program designed to serve clients who have mild, moderate, and chronic psychiatric impairment and whose adaptive functioning is impaired.
First Light Recovery (FLR) offers a Transitional Residential Treatment Program for men and women between the ages of 18-59 years who meets the admission criteria of either one diagnosis from the Diagnostic Statistical Manual 5 or diagnosed with co-occurring disorders with primary psychiatric issues.

FLR provides care to individuals whose symptoms are not severe enough to require nursing and/or medical care but sufficiently severe to require 24-hour structure and support in which First Light is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week so we may meet those needs. Admission in to First Light Recovery is without regard to race, color, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, or national origin. Men and women will be housed in separate quarters.

First Light Recovery provides treatment and services in an Alcohol and Drug Free Environment.
First Light Recovery’ mission is to assist in the development of increased mental health awareness, consciousness, and enlightenment through a journey of self-realization while learning how to accept and protect self from obstacles both beyond and within their control.

Our treatment philosophy surrounds the belief that without increased awareness into issues that motivate problematic behaviors that the ability to learn to live independently and thrive in one’s environment decreases. The journey of self-realization is the awakening of one’s potential and an impulse to convert oneself into what it is capable of being. This increased awareness, consciousness, and enlightenment will increase realizations about self, about relationships with others, and about the world around oneself and enable individuals to live a productive and fulfilling life.
