Whole Life Recovery
Whole Life Recovery is located San Juan Capistrano in Southern California.
Whole Life Recovery’s mission is to create an opportunity for individuals to live an authentic and rewarding life by treating the whole person through mind, body and spirit, while decreasing chances of recidivism.
Our treatment philosophy surrounds our belief that recovery comes from finding each client’s truth by achieving a healthier state of mind, body and spirit. We believe that short term treatment can achieve successful long-term outcomes by addressing relapse potential, behavioral modification and expanding opportunities to improve one’s lifestyle. Whole Life Recovery utilizes a bio-psychosocial approach to assess each client individually and offers the opportunity to address the emotional and spiritual problems that led to substance abuse. We believe that recovery is a process and begin our journey in treatment with a commitment to change.
Whole Life Recovery is a comprehensive outpatient treatment program, and/or ASAM Level II.5, providing an alternative to residential treatment for men and women over the age of 18 who are chemically dependent and may have a co-occurring disorder. The day treatment program is a program created for individuals who are ready to return to work, school or other responsibilities and/or do not require a higher level of care and designed for persons motivated for recovery and requiring less supervision than a residential level of care. The average length of stay for outpatient day treatment program will be approximately 90 days. Whole Life Recovery provides treatment and services in an Alcohol and Drug Free Environment.
All services and treatment provided by Whole Life Recovery are geared toward providing necessary education and treatment components while allowing clients to apply these new skills in the “real world.” Treatment services will focus on psycho-education surrounding addiction, relapse prevention, codependency issues, dual diagnosis (co-occurring disorders), life skills, mindfulness/spiritual awareness and trauma. The program will be divided in to three phases of treatment. Groups, both process and psychoeducational, will occur Monday through Friday, four to five hours per day. Each progressive phase will offer a variety of different groups in order to increase the ability to live healthier and more stable life once a person discharges for treatment as well as increasingly ability to live a productive and fulfilled life.
